Shimmer

Shimmer Ortiz is one of four members of the Wubb Girlz and is also one of Shine's sisters. She is also one of the main protagonists in the "Wubb Girlz' Adventures" series and a secondary protagonist in the "Kitty Katswell's Adventures" series.

Appearances

Her first appearance was in "The Wubb Girlz' Adventures of Dumbo". Her next appearance was in an episode of "Kitty Katswell's Adventures of The Galaxy Railways". Her more recent appearance was in "Kitsandra Katswell's Adventures of Sleeping Beauty". She is slated to appear in the upcoming video-fanfic, "Sleeping Dannirella", as Merriweather, with Shine and Sparkle as Flora and Fauna, respectively.

Persona

Shimmer can be defined as kind yet a little spunky. Like Shine, Glitter and Sparkle, she never gives up on her sisters and friends, no matter how bad a situation can seem at times. Shimmer's spunkiness was revealed when she was told she was to portray Merriweather in "Sleeping Dannirella".

Attire

Being a member of the Wubb Girlz, Shimmer's main attire consists of a pink shortsleeved shirt with a purple belt around the waist, which reveals a pink skirt at the bottom. She also wears purple leggings, which reveal only a little bit of her legs before ending in pink high-heeled boots. On her boots and shirt are little sprinkles. Also, Shimmer has rings on her wrists as well as two hoop earrings on her left ear. And her pink hair is always kept poofy up top while most of it drapes along her head and the hair up top is kept in place with a pink hairband.

Film

It was announced that Paramount Pictures, MTV Films, Nickelodeon Movies and Frederator Films are currently planning two back-to-back spinoff films based on the 'Wubb Girlz' characters to be released in theaters in 2030: The first one will be about Shimmer, entitled The Wubb Girlz' Adventures Of Shimmer! (on May 31st) while the other will about Glitter, entitled A Wubb Girlz Movie: Ginger Ortiz! (on July 12th). No writers or directors have been confirmed to be involved as of yet.
